“Sarah is an incredibly insightful and compassionate person.
She has helped me realize many things about how I operate in the world and in my relationships. I greatly value the blind spots she notices and invites me to reflect on.
She has challenged a lot of my assumptions about my own behavior and my thought process.
My favorite part of working with Sarah is feeling deeply seen and heard.”

I’m direct, warm, and authentic. Usually the people who find me appealing are looking someone who will challenge them as well as connect with them. People who stay aren’t looking for a nodder - you know, someone who just nods along.
I’m a firm believer in splitting the work. That means I’ll do some, and I expect you to do some. The most transformative piece of therapy, and the biggest factor in lasting change is the relationship we form together.

I’m a family systems therapist by training, and you’ll probably hear me talk about family dynamics a lot. It’s my passion. I love working with all different kinds of people, and I’ll always start with your family (yep, that’s your childhood!) I am trained in attachment based therapy, and I draw from internal family systems (IFS), which identifies the different parts of each person. I also use mindfulness and somatic therapy, which means listening to your body and responding to it, and cognitive behavioral (CBT) / structural therapy, which means making practical changes to how you think about and respond to your environment in order to lower anxiety and prepare you to explore more deeply.
